明珠湾大桥工程全长约10.42公里，主线全长约9.1公里，主桥采用（96 +164 +436 +164 +96 +60）米中承式六跨连续钢桁拱桥，全长1016米，为同类型桥梁最大跨度。
大桥采用双层桥面布置，上层为双向八车道，两侧为人行道；下层两侧为预留双向四车道城市交通。该设计不仅可满足各类出行需求，还可增加空间关系，创造出“人、车、船同步行”的景观视点，成为“颜值”和“内涵”于一身的超级市政大桥。
