WordPress Site Management for Small Business
This is the second post in our WordPerfect Series Twenty Seventeen where we will change the post display on the Home Page from the post content in its entirety to post excerpts.
This is what we’re starting with, the posts listed in full below the Home Page Masthead.
If you remember from our first post on Child Themes, PHP files added in your Child Theme override the Parent Theme PHP files of the same name. In this case it is our index.php that will override the Parentindex.php.
We can now do our check for the Home Page.
And there are our excerpts!
