今天早上，微软发布了全新的 Visual Studio Code Python 插件，带来了众多更新。其中，最大的更新就要属万众期待的 Jupyter Notebook 原生支持了。
这次更新使得 Jupyter Notebook 众多重要功能在 Visual Studio Code 中全面支持，包括运行单个 cell、运行全部 cell、管理 cell、Markdown 预览、查看运行结果等等。除此之外，开发者还能把 Jupyter Notebook 直接导出为 Python 文件，以及在 Visual Studio Code 中通过变量查看器实时地查看变量的类型与值。更为关键的是，在 Visual Studio Code 中编辑 Jupyter Notebook 的 Python 代码，就犹如平时在 Visual Studio Code 编写 Python 文件一样，有强大的 IntelliSense（智能提示）、变量 / 函数的 hover 提示等等功能。
自 2015 年微软发布 Visual Studio Code 后，这短短四年多的时间里，Visual Studio Code 一跃成为开发工具中的香饽饽，在 Stack Overflow 的 2018 年开发者调查中，Visual Studio Code 成为了最受欢迎的开发工具：
而且，同样出自微软的 IDE Visual Studio，免费的社区版和付费的专业版几乎没有差异，专业版只是多了一个“代码镜头”功能。有网友觉得“微软著名的 IDE Visual Studio 将被它的开源编辑器 Visual Studio Code 所取代”。
