当地时间5月8日，华为副董事长、首席财务官孟晚舟孟晚舟当天上午再次为引渡问题在温哥华出庭。华为公司发表声明称，美国下令逮捕孟女士是非法滥用程序，背后有政治因素驱动，而非出于法治考虑。而加拿大相关部门在美国联邦调查局（FBI）参与下采取的行动对孟女士依据《加拿大权利与自由宪章》所享有的权利造成了多次、严重的侵犯。
