蓝鲸TMT频道2月14日讯，蚂蚁金服宣布收购英国跨境支付公司万里汇（WorldFirst）并已完成所有权变更，后者正式成为蚂蚁金服集团全资子公司。
蚂蚁金服方面表示，支付宝与WorldFirst携手将能够更好地服务小微企业，在全球推进普惠金融服务，促进全球经济可持续发展。目前WorldFirst拥有8万多活跃客户，年交易量超过100亿英镑。
根据资料显示，为更好服务阿里巴巴eWTP战略，支付宝已向超过200个国家和地区的用户和中小企业提供跨境支付服务。目前WorldFirst已经与阿里巴巴旗下Lazada合作，为印尼、马来西亚、菲律宾、新加坡和泰国的商户提供国际支付服务。而WorldFirst旗下的国际汇款业务，也会成为阿里巴巴推进全球汇的结构性组成部分。
据悉，支付宝出海已打造9个本地版“支付宝”，包括印度Paytm，巴基斯坦Easypaisa，菲律宾GCash，孟加拉bKash等。
