庆祝发布十周年，谷歌在今年九月推出的Chrome69版本中用户界面发生重大调整，不仅带来圆角的标签、全新的色板和全新的图标，而且也重新设计了菜单、提示符、地址栏等方面。谷歌表示新设计旨在通过简化的界面提高生产力。然而并非所有用户都喜欢新UI，在Reddit社区和推特上有不少用户抱怨不习惯新版，并寻找各种方式重新回到此前界面。
