12月24日，在中国铁路科技创新成就展上，12306技术部主任单杏花称，铁路车票将实现并推行无纸化，目前正在试点，凭借身份证或12306手机APP的乘车二维码验票乘车。单杏花表示，11月22日在海南环线试点实行电子客票，铁路车票率先实行无纸化。
