据 新华网 报道，中国互联网投资基金、中国信息通信研究院、国家互联网应急中心、红杉资本、阿里巴巴、腾讯、百度等 50 余家单位在第五届世界互联网大会期间，联合发出倡议，发起成立中国数字经济投融资联盟。
国家互联网信息办公室规划财务局局长吴铁男介绍称，中国数字经济投融资联盟将通过举办高峰论坛，组织政策解读、专题研讨、课题研究、调研交流、项目推介、国际合作等多种形式的活动，增进成员间的交流合作和信息共享，为政府部门决策和行业发展提供支持服务。
报道称，中国在 2017 年的数字经济规模总量达到 27.2 万亿元，位居全球第二，占 GDP 比重达到 32.9%，已成为带动国民经济发展的重要引擎。吴铁男表示，去年中国境内与数字经济密切相关的网信领域投融资事件达 6000 起，涉及交易金额达到 1 万亿，分别占到市场总量的 39% 和 29%。
