10月15日，微博用户“想去酒店躺着的pinksteam”发布消息称，锤子科技解散成都分公司。有网友指出，此人是锤子科技早期员工王前闯。对此，腾讯《一线》向锤子科技求证，对方称尚未接到相关消息。
据悉，锤子曾于2017年获得了来自成都的资金支持。2017年底，锤子科技宣布总部搬往成都，并在成都举办了新品发布会。到了2018年，罗永浩还曾在北京举办的发布会上说：“我们是来自成都的企业。”
除此之外，罗永浩还曾为成都介绍了不少创新创业活动的落地。比如今年7月，极客公园前往成都举办活动，就是由罗永浩从中牵线。
