On October 1, 2018 .NET Core 2.0 reached end of life. This means the version is no longer supported and updates will no longer be provided. We recommend moving to .NET Core 2.1. See our support policy for more details.

.NET Core 2.0 installers, zips and Docker images will remain available, but unsupported.

  • 2.0 downloads will still be accessible through the Download Archives . You will see notifications on the site indicating the end of life status.
  • .NET Core 2.0 has been removed from the microsoft/dotnet repo README, however the existing images remain available in that repo. They will also be removed in the same way from the microsoft/aspnetcore and microsoft/aspnetcore-build repos.
