PixelShot

PixelShot is an awsome Android library that can save any View or SurfaceView as an image in the formats JPG/PNG/nomedia. The library works on a asynchronous task behind the scenes and handles errors of I/O operations and manages memory allocation for you.

Example of simplest usage:

In this simple case where no attributes is specified the library will just use defaults as such:

Filename will be named to a timestamp when save() is called.
Path will default to /Pictures in the internal storage.
Image format will default to .JPG

   PixelShot.of(view).setResultListener(this).save();

Example of a detailed usage:

    PixelShot.of(view).setResultListener(this)
                      .setFilename("Hello World")
                      .setPath("MySickApp/media/pictures")
                      .toPNG()
                      .save();

Installation

Add the depedency in your build.gradle

dependencies {
    implementation 'com.muddzdev:pixelshot:1.0.0'  
}
