Token早期的叫法为代币，但现在更适合的翻译应该是“通证”。“通证”的概念超过了“代币”。通证是一种可流通的、加密的数字权益证明，这个权益，可以是财产、学历证书、钥匙、门票、积分、荣誉、使用权等等任何事物。代币更像是资产的数字化，而通证则在此基础上，同时包含了数字化的资产，将原本无法量化、无法记账的东西，给量化、记账。
