港媒称小米旗下公司有意申请香港虚拟银行牌照

8月20日消息，据香港信报报道，小米集团旗下洞见金融科技有意申请香港虚拟银行牌照，希望在本月底首批申请截止前递交文件。
据了解，小米金融旗下的洞见金融科技（Insight Fintech HK），邀得已退休的首位汇丰华人大班郑海泉，以及现任理工大学校长唐伟章加盟，出任董事。消息透露，洞见金融科技有意申请虚拟银行牌照，希望能赶及本月底首批申请截止前递交文件。
自香港金管局全力推动在香港引入虚拟银行后，已经有不少银行、非银行金融机构，甚至是互联网科技企业，均表达有意申请牌照。
