相继报道“小米推荐的P2P企业爆雷”，“小米已清查下架3000多金融类APP”之后，一些受害米粉向网易科技讲述了自己P2P踩雷全过程，他们有的还在上学，有的刚参加工作，损失从几千到十几万不等。期望追回损失，他们组成了维权群，却被永久封停；他们在知乎、微博发帖维权，却被限流、删帖……维权之路颇为艰辛，看不到希望。
